Frame Styles

We’ve come a long way. From the first ever glasses in the 13th century to goggles to monocles to the Kanye West un-see-out-able statement slit frame pair. There’s a lot of talk of shape and colour and designer and brand, but often forgotten about is the humble frame style. But that’s where we come in. Swinging in to the rescue, we’re here to show you the plethora of options that you can choose from, and all for an unbelievably low price.

Let’s start with the full frame. You may think of thick, over-the-top (for some) statement glasses a la Edna Mode or Where’s Wally. But a full frame can also be a slender metallic number. Think aviators, small round frames, big round frames, gunmetal rectangular glasses. Sometimes a full frame can be an understated triumph. And sometimes it can be the statement your face has been dutifully waiting for. On the other side of things, you’ve got your thick black frames, your head-turning tortoiseshell, your colour popping finishes.

Then there are the semi-rimless. This can range from the glamorous cat eye frames to the iconic 1950s Mad Men aesthetic. The heavy top rim to the invisible top rim – perfect for peering over!

Finally, we have the rimless. The barely-there look that swings in and out of popularity, but never fails to nail the look of suave allure.

So let’s talk about our collections. We’ve got designers – Vera Wang, Versace, YSL, you know the drill – or we’ve got brands – Benetton, Kookai, Bench and more. Then we’ve got a rainbow of colour choices to suit and face or style. And everything is wonderfully low cost.

Really, we can’t say any more at this point. It’s probably best you just come and take a look yourself.
