Get the most out of your new glasses with features such as UV protection, scratch-resistant, and anti-reflective coatings. Learn more about the different lens coatings to help find the right one for your needs.
UV Protection
An invisible dye that blocks ultraviolet (UV) light is a beneficial lens treatment. As sunscreen protects your skin from the sun’s rays, UV-protective coating protects your eyes from the same rays. We have already included this coating in all of our lens packages to prevent cataracts, retinal damage, and other eye problems associated with overexposure to ultraviolet light.
Scratch Resistant
Whether you drop your glasses on the floor or occasionally wipe them with a paper towel, lenses that are treated with a clear scratch-resistant coating have a much harder surface and are more resistant to scratching. We include this coating in all of our lens packages.
Try On For Better Fit
Our free virtual try-on tool allows you to confidently choose frames before ordering. You can try them on as many times as you like.
Anti Reflective
The anti-reflective coating is also known as AR, and is composed of many thin layers of coating that greatly reduce glare caused by light wavelengths. It improves vision by reducing unwanted reflections from the lens surfaces. All of our lens packages come with anti-reflection coatings as standard, which is especially important for thin lens materials that reflect more light than standard lenses.
Smudges can appear more readily on anti-reflective lenses than on uncoated lenses, so it is important to clean them regularly with a soft glasses cleaning cloth.
Hydrophobic Coating
Hydrophobic coating can be applied to the top layer of lenses to make them easier to clean. Water repellent coatings force moisture to bounce or slide away from lenses, making them easier to clean. We offer hydrophobic coatings on our Silver and Platinum lenses.
Blue Light Defense
It includes a specially developed anti-reflection coating designed to filter out blue-violet light emitted by mobile devices. It will be much more relaxing for you to look at a computer or tablet with the coating if you work at a computer a lot or spend your evenings on a tablet or mobile phone. With Blue Light Defense on any of your glasses, you will enhance contrast and feel less fatigued. You will also be protected against harmful UV light from blue light lenses. You can select the Bluse Light Defence option from the add-ons.
